Word of the Day : Engender
en⋅gen⋅der [en-jen-der] –verb (used with object)
- to produce, cause, or give rise to: Hatred engenders violence.
I had no idea this word existed. It was one of the questions in my ethics class. “in what ways does good ethics engender good business?”
I am just wondering why they had to use such an uncommon word. I think college books do this on purpose to force you to waste time looking up the meaning of words.
