Title Author Rating Note
How to Resist Amazon and Why Danny Caine ★★★☆☆ Kansas State Library notable book, a bit whiney and preachy but I support the message in principle and it was a big motivation of finallly creating this page instead of using Goodreads.
Man’s Search for Meaning Viktor E. Frankl ★★★★★ Holocaust survivor writes about the experience in the camps and the meaning of suffering and life.
Two Old Women Velma Wallis ★★★☆☆ Picked this up in Alaska, a lovely story of resiliancy by a native writer.
In Praise of Good Bookstores Jeff Deutsch ★★★★★ A love letter to bookstores and reading. Must read for anyone who loves books and bookstores. Will cause you to have an existential crisis because it will remind you that reading one book is a choice to not read a million others.
