The Great World!

By: Lazar Lazinsky

If you turn to the screen of your TV,
You might use a special key
And open a broad door
To another magical world.
There aren't the envies and hates,
Instead, you may meet close mates;
The world is without its evils and harms,
Instead, you feel the warmth of friend's arms;
The wars and fighting come to a stop
And you don't hear about a murder or shot.
You see the tears only during the contest,
Maybe, it's for the best,
Because the tears originate from joy
And our world they do not destroy.
We see the friendship of different men,
Of different nations, races and sportsmen.
The olympic games exhibit the true ways
For our life-they are the light's rays.
The light of peace in our world.
The great world we have to keep and hold!
