Some startup had this brilliant idea of sending doormats to their customers instead of cold calling. I admit its clever. It’ll get attention and work exaclty one time.

On the other hand, I am worried that we’re about to have a deluge of random crap sent to physical offices in an attempt to capture this exciting new channel.

I am still puzzled on why anyone would leave this mat on their front door advertizing some other companies product to anyone who happens to walk by. But it does remind me of some diners on the east coast that sold ads on their placemats. Nothing screams tasteful design like an add for Big Bobs Oil Change in a nonmatching font.
