I always found it so interesting that Doctors spent like 8+ years in the classroom but all of their core skills were developed using the “see one, do one, teach one” apprenticeship style approach. Also found that when it came to doing simple medical procedures the support staff like nurses and medics were usually much better than the doctors since they likely saw all the ways a given producdure could go wrong.
