Regina Spektor
Music has always had a special place in my song and in my time of need it is the only thing that has not abandoned me. I was in search of a song to help me out of my rut. It did not take me long to find the right song. I have heard of Regina Spektor in the past but never really gave her a second thought.
This song i heard today called “Fidelity” hit home at this time. Her voice is so beautiful and the lyrics strike a chord in my soul. In the song she has a happy ending (or what it seems like to me).Unfortunately I am not able to get one of those but I can still enjoy the music.
"And suppose I never ever met you Suppose we never fell in love Suppose I never ever let you kiss me so sweet and so soft Suppose I never ever saw you Suppose we never ever called Suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall Just to break my fall Just to break my fall Break my fall Break my fall"
