It has come to my attention as of late
that the truth is based on lies
and lies are based on rape
and the rape is based on love
and the love comes crashing down
like a downpour from the clouds
and it does not make a sound
just keeps spinning round and round

It has become clear to me
that life doesn't last forever
that we will never be free
from our own constructions of reality
from our self-serving responsibilities
creating self-fulfilling prophecies
that dont end well for you or me

I regret to inform you
that I have had enough
Im throwing away all of your stuff
and breaking free out of these cuffs
that last few years have been pretty rough
but I can only dream
and hope
and wonder
what it truly means
to be in love.

Embedding Wren in Hare

I’ve been on the lookout for a scripting language which can be neatly embedded into Hare programs. Perhaps the obvious candidate is Lua – but I’m not particularly enthusiastic about it. When I was evaluating the landscape of tools which are “like Lua, but no…
