R1D26 Spinning My Wheels

| programming |

I spent an entire hour trying to work through the issue I wrote about in my last post. Sadly, I did not make much progress.

I was able to convert multiple spaces to a single space, but I ended up also cutting off the first letter of all subsequent words in the process.

So hello world becomes hello orld, hello        world becomes hello orld, and hello world its me lev becomes hello orld ts e ev. :(

This seemingly simple problem is giving me a lot of trouble. I think I am going to move on to the next problem and live with the fact that I don’t know how to do this in C (yet).

I asked on the freeCodeCamp forum for some advice so hopefully someone will come along and point me in the right direction. :)
